The Red Lion is a cosy country inn, nestled in the heart of the Cotswold village of Long Compton, a place steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Renowned for the consistently excellent quality of its food and drink offering, The Red Lion has retained its AA Rosette since 2008. The regularly changing menu includes a variety of delicious, freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Many of their regular diners tell them that they return so frequently because they share their passion for good food. They love the quality and range of produce and, above all, the fact that they can always rely on The Red Lion to cook them a decent meal.

The bar serves a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and ‘nos & lows’, including a decent selection that have been made right here in the Cotswolds.

The Red Lion also has seven individually-styled ensuite bedrooms, featuring handpicked furnishings, Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and a selection of luxury toiletries.
