Antiques in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds has one of the highest concentrations of art and antique shops in England outside London.

The Cotswolds Art & Antique Dealers' Association, the UK's first and pre-eminent art and antique regional association, has over 50 members spread across the area and organises the annual CADA Fair at Blenheim Palace - some of the best international and national art and antique dealers exhibiting quality pieces in a superb setting

Antiques shops and emporia are scattered liberally across the Cotswolds with particular concentrations in many of the towns: from the Suffolks area of Cheltenham in the west to Witney and Woodstock in the east,  from Tetbury in the south to Chipping Campden in the north.

Many of the towns have over the years developed reputations as centres for particular types of arts or antiques - Stow on the Wold and Tetbury for furniture, Broadway and Woodstock for art - but almost every town offers a great opportunity for a spot of antique browsing and the prospect of finding that perfect piece.
