Discover Kingham
Kingham is a peaceful and secluded village, once chosen as Country Life's 'England's Favourite Village', yet it has a main line train service to London - only 90 minutes away. The station is about a mile from the village centre. Kingham is set in the broad Evenlode valley with wide open village greens at its northern end bordered by elegant cottages, many dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Kingham is a small, quiet village - just a village shop and two pubs - but superbly positioned in the North Cotswolds, close to Chipping Norton, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. There are a number of nearby attractions including Daylesford Organic, Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Churchill & Sarsden Heritage Centre.

Kingham is a foodie destination, with its two highly-rated pubs, the Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, and the annual Big Feastival held at Blur bassist Alex James’ local farm. There are also a number of highly rated pubs nearby including The Kings Head Inn at Bledington and the Chequers at Churchill, as well as the The Daylesford Trough café, Legbar and Old Spot restaurant, located at Daylesford Organic Farm.
