Eat Sleep Axe is an urban axe-throwing venue that provides a fun, friendly environment for you to hang out with friends and throw axes.
The sport of axe throwing has a long history, (back to the 3rd Century at least) and today there are axe throwing leagues, competitions and outdoor ranges around the world. Bringing axe throwing indoors has become very popular in recent years, and Eat Sleep Axe provides this unique experience in Cheltenham, in a suitably urban venue.
There are three axe-throwing lanes and each lane can take up to 4 people. You always have the lane to yourselves.
Each session is 60 or 90 mins long and includes safety and throwing instruction from trained axe coaches, who are there to help out throughout the session.
For groups and special occasions, the whole venue can be booked, which includes use of the three throwing lanes, seating area and axe coaches on hand to make sure you get to grips with throwing.
A variety of fun games are projected onto specially designed end-grain targets (to ensure maximum stickability), and you can select competition targets, noughts and crosses, or even zombies, to throw at.
There are also a variety of axes to try out, suitable for all ages (10+) and abilities.
Eat Sleep Axe is located on the first floor of Escape Rooms Cheltenham in Winchcombe Street, in Cheltenham town centre, and it is also possible to book joint axe throwing and escape room 2hr sessions.
