About Us
Cotswolds Tourism consists of a small team funded primarily by two councils (Cotswold District Council and West Oxfordshire District Council) and its member businesses (currently around 450). It is the Destination Management Organisation for the Cotswolds and also acts as lead organisation for Cotswolds Plus the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), which includes a number of other neighbouring DMOs and organisations.
The two primary objectives of Cotswolds Tourism are:
- Responsible marketing of the Cotswolds - done as Cotswolds Tourism DMO
- Managing the Cotswolds as a destination - done primarily via Cotswolds Plus LVEP
