About
The clean-lined interior, plush velour seating and industrial style artefacts of Somewhere Else are at odds with its original stone frontage, yet it captures the essence of a very stylish town bar and eatery.
This rather unique place is renowned for its fabulous range of cocktails and boasts an in-house Mixologist who is always creating new concoctions and will happily design one of your choice even if it’s not on the menu!
Couped with a drinks list that includes locally brewed beers and international wines, it’s an ideal environment to celebrate a special occasion, host a cocktail making class or simply catch up with friends after work.
Following the successful introduction of two foodie pop-ups, Somewhere Else is now the permanent home to Asha Indian Kitchen and Munch by Munch, serving food daily.
Offering both an eat-in dining experience and a takeaway service, Asha serves classic and contemporary Indian Cuisine pairing authentic cooking techniques with an array of spices to create a quintessentially Indian dish. By contrast, Munch by Munch delights those who love street food, taking dirty double cheeseburgers, filthy loaded fries, and juicy fried chicken to the next level.
There is plenty of space and various seating options to accommodate different group sizes, including an upstairs bar and dining area which is available also for private hire. The covered terraced courtyard and bar-lit tunnel offer additional, yet quirky seating options.
Whatever your reason for visiting Somewhere Else, you can always guarantee that you’ll be met with friendly faces, as Andy and his team strive to make your visit unforgettable.
